Model & business
What is Propertize?
Propertize is a white-label SaaS platform that lets real estate developers launch tokenized investment projects under their own brand. Each customer operates with a dedicated instance, its own domain, custom visual identity and separate components to manage projects, investors and documentation.
How is it different from traditional real estate crowdfunding?
In a traditional crowdfunding model, the developer is usually onboarded as a project inside a third-party platform. With Propertize, the platform operates under your brand: you build your own investment channel, manage your investor base and strengthen a direct, long-term relationship.
Which parts does Propertize operate and which do I operate?
Propertize manages the technological infrastructure required to operate the platform: smart contracts, cloud infrastructure, KYC, technical support and operational components. Your company manages the commercial product: brand, projects, documentation, investor relationship, investment terms and project communication.
Who is behind Propertize?
Propertize is built by Tokelab and Encode, together with WakeUp Labs as a specialist partner on smart contracts. The project combines experience in real-world asset tokenization, blockchain infrastructure, software development, finance and digital solutions for new investment models.
Implementation
How long does it take to get my platform ready?
Implementation is usually measured in weeks, not months. The exact timeline depends on the level of customization, available documentation, the project's commercial setup and the legal or operational requirements of each jurisdiction.
Do I need blockchain expertise?
No. Propertize manages the technological infrastructure required to operate the platform. Your team focuses on uploading the project, managing documentation and engaging with investors; we take care of the blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, KYC, technical support and platform operation.
Do I need to build an in-house tech team?
No. The platform is operated from a web panel designed for commercial, administrative and operational teams. You don't need to build or maintain in-house blockchain infrastructure. For advanced integrations, Propertize can provide technical documentation and specialized support.
Which countries can my platform operate in?
Propertize is designed for developers across LATAM. Each deployment adapts to the operational and commercial framework of the relevant jurisdiction, and we work with your team to define the necessary requirements before going live.
Your investors
Who handles KYC for my investors?
The KYC process is integrated through providers specialized in identity verification and compliance. Investors complete the validation before participating in projects.
How do my investors sign up?
They can sign up with email, Google or an existing wallet. The experience is designed so the investor can operate simply, with no technical blockchain knowledge.
Can my investors sell their tokens later?
The platform can include redemption mechanisms at the end of the project cycle and, depending on the defined structure, transfer mechanisms or secondary markets. Their implementation depends on the business model, legal documentation and applicable regulatory framework.
What's the minimum investment ticket?
It's defined by each developer when configuring the project's issuance terms. Propertize does not impose a minimum ticket.
How do I distribute returns to my investors?
When the project generates distributable results, the platform allows managing payouts or distributions to registered investors in a traceable way, according to the commercial and legal terms defined for each project.
Technology & security
Which blockchain do the tokens run on?
The platform is prepared to operate on scalable blockchain networks compatible with Ethereum. We currently work on Arbitrum, a layer 2 that lowers transaction costs while keeping operational efficiency.
Are the smart contracts audited?
Yes. The smart contract infrastructure has been audited and tested in operational environments, including contracts for token issuance, project administration, permission control and investor validation.
Who owns the investor data?
The developer maintains control of the commercial relationship with its investors. Each Propertize instance runs with dedicated components — including database, authentication and operational configuration — to separate each customer's information. We manage the technological infrastructure, but the investor relationship belongs to your company.
Commercial & support
How much does Propertize cost?
The commercial model combines an initial implementation, a monthly subscription and, depending on the project, a variable fee. We prepare a tailored proposal based on the scope, required customization and characteristics of each development.
Can I launch more than one project?
Yes. A single instance can manage multiple projects in parallel, with information, documentation, issuance stages and investors associated with each development.
What if I want to pause or exit the operation?
The contract contemplates orderly mechanisms to pause, end or migrate the operation, depending on the status of active projects and the obligations taken on with investors. In those cases, we support the operational shutdown process, the management of existing tokens and the data migration when applicable.
